Healthy noms! July 23, 2010 J. Yu (Tallahassee, FL) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
As I wrote in my review of Fruitables All-Natural Pumpkin & Banana Dog Treat, 1.14oz pouch (Pack of 6), my shepherd-chow mutt likes both flavors, but they aren't her favorite. She doesn't seem to prefer one flavor over the other, and she doesn't go bananas for them like she does for Pro-Treat Beef Liver, Freeze Dried Dog Treats, 21 Ounce or Dogswell Happy Hips for Dogs, Chicken Breast,15-Ounce Pouches (Pack of 3). These treats are healthy, natural, and low calorie (important for an older, ahem, "big boned" dog). They even smell great, like people food. I'll probably buy more in the future to alternate with her meaty treats, but I'll buy the larger bags. I wouldn't have bought treats packaged this way if they hadn't been on sale. It's a waste of packaging.

Title of item: "Fruitables All-Natural Pumpkin & Apple Dog Treat" Product features: "Made in the USA & free of Wheat, Corn, Soy, By-Products and Artificial Ingredients/Preservatives" Since when are artificial ingredients natural?
For rabbits, too! December 10, 2009 Critter Mama (Seattle, WA USA) This is also a popular treat for rabbits! I ordered the pumpkin/banana and pumpkin/apple flavors for my 4 rabbits. I serve them whole to my giant rabbits and break them apart for my little rabbits. They go absolutely crazy at treat time! Highly recommend!
My 6 dogs favor these over many others December 10, 2009 Paw Print (Massachusetts, USA) 3 out of 3 found this review helpful
My 6 dogs' "Auntie" sent these as their holiday gift. It was an unknown product to me, but heck, as long as it is all natural without any junk in it, I'll give it a try. Literally. I don't give my dogs anything at all unless I taste-test it first. These are good enough to be a snack for me! "Auntie" sent the apple/pumpkin flavor. 6 small, resealable bags in a box. There are approx. 25 crunchy treats in each bag and they are small enough to use as a training treat. Low calorie too. Each treat is approximately the size of a nickle, with a scalloped outside edge and maybe 1/4" thick. I don't know what the dogs taste, but I could distinguish the apple and pumpkin quite well. The first treat was given yesterday after coming in from playing in the first (ridiculous) snow storm of the season. The dogs are all Greyhounds, so they have to come inside, wait until I wipe their feet, remove their coats, smooth their fur to eliminate the static from the coat-wearing and give them the 'ok' to tramp through the house. Rather than the 'ok', I gave the signal to sit and wait for a treat. Each dog, not having had these particular treats ever before, took the treat gingerly with their front teeth and just waited...and waited, until all 6 had theirs. They were given the 'ok' to eat them and BAM! all my training went out the window. I had flashbacks of feeding geese at the park and being trampled by webbed feet so the geese could get the bag of bread in my hands. My dogs were so giddy with anticipation of another one of these new treats, I didn't know whether to thank their "Auntie" or scold her! Anyway, "Thank you, Auntie" from the kids. They all love these treats and I'm here checking them out so I know what to expect when the current supply runs low. I'll definitely be purchasing these for my dogs in the future.
My GSD/Husky mix is having none of it! February 12, 2009 socalgal (Irvine, CA) 2 out of 5 found this review helpful
Unbelievable! After all the favorable reviews and the great-sounding description of the treats, I was sure that these would be my dog's next favorite food treat. Not even close. He literally brushed the treat out of my hand and on to the floor with his nose. I tried to mix them with other food and he wanted nothing to do with them. I tried luring him to them on the floor and he pulled away like I was leading him to a dog bath. We'll just say that he's not a fan. Very disappointed in these and a waste of money.
