No more eye boogies!! July 15, 2010 C. Hsieh (Sunnyvale, CA) I have a miniature poodle who is now about 6 years old name Lambchop. I had always fed her Purina One dry food having heard before that dry food was just better for your dog teeth wise. About 6 months ago, my cousin's dog had a major health scare and almost died (it was just from old age, he's 14). He's still hanging in there, but seeing an elderly dog made me really concerned about my own baby's health. So I did a lot of internet research and read some good things about Paw Naturaw and all the benefits of feeding organic raw food. I thought...why not, she might love it, and in the end its not THAT much more expensive every month. She ABSOLUTELY loves this food. She's always been a good eater, but now she literally wakes me up at 7am and reminds me at 6pm that its time for her meal. She dances around me and goes to her bowl tapping it until I feed her. I thought she might lose weight because I'm feeding her less in volume, but she hasn't, I'm assuming because there is so much more nutritional value in each bite. And one AMAZING and unexpected benefit - no more eye gunk!!! She's a white dog and has always had extremely extremely watery eyes, so it was always brown and gunky under her eyes. After she started eating paw naturaw the gunk went away at least 80%. AMAZING!!!! I had looked into things like angel eyes before, but since I read about a chemical in it that might be dangerous I never bought any. It's such a great change...I only have to clean her eyes once in the morning now, and her eyes are just way more clear. I think she must have been allergic to some chemical in the commercial food. She is also significantly less thirsty all the time, I think because there's no cereal/corn filler like in the commercial dry foods. All I can say is...I'm so happy I bought this food. Her quality of life is better, she seems more energetic, her eyes are more clear, and I'm positive this will help extend her life down the line....not to mention she is so happy at every meal. Your dogs are worth the extra cost and effort - which in reality is not that much more.

We've been buying this for our dog for almost a year, and we couldn't be happier with it. The service is excellent, and our dog loves it!
High Quality Organic Raw Food. March 29, 2010 John (New Hampshire) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
If your looking at this product you probably already know the benefits of feeding your dog or cat raw food, so I will stick a a review of this product and not the benefits of raw food. We have fed our Labrador Natures Variety Organic Chicken Raw food for the last 5 years. It was recently discontinued by the manufacturer and we went looking for another high quality food with similar ingredients. We first wanted to switch to the conventional Chicken from Natures Variety until we saw that there is a 2nd protein source (Turkey) which leads to food allergies. It is well known that "single-source" protein is more easily digestible so after much research we decided on Paw Naturaw (try saying that name fast 5 times!). The ingredients and how they source their food, and AAFCO Certification were the deciding factors. They ship with dry ice and the product was shipped in a timely manner and arrived frozen solid. We used Amazon.com prime and overnight shipping for $3.99 6 lbs of patties in each bag (12, 8 ounce patties). Three things of slight concern were the feeding guidelines,Pathogen free certification, and many reports that customer service for the company "does not return emails" and is not very knowledgeable about certain aspects their own product. Their website suggests a much higher food intake (2x) over Primal and Natures Variety (that would be a lot more $$, so we got the calories per 8 oz patty and indeed it is less calories. So we may end up having to feed more. We were feeding two 8 ounce patties per Day for our 60lb dog. The pathogen free report # that they mention on their website was not found on any of our bags, maybe its not applicable to the product we purchased? Customer service seemed confused as to where their product ships from (important if your deciding on shipping times and handling procedures for a frozen, perishable product). Other than those issues which may be a non-issue for some, this in my opinion is a superior product, perhaps the best raw food patties currently on the market, and the convenience of ordering through Amazon.com and and fast shipping made this an easy decision in the end. Thanks Paw Naturaw!
Excellent brand for your dog August 9, 2009 TZ2DSR (USA) 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
PawNaturaw products excel in value per dollar, nutrition per meal, and peace of mind for "mom and dad" ... when you are serious about providing real nutrition for your canine companion, PawNaturaw products should be in your freezer. If you are reading this, you are considering feeding your dog biologically appropriate foods, instead of inflammation causing corn, wheat and soy, not to mention by-products and who knows what useless fillers. Try PawNaturaw items and you won't be disappointed. AbiGirl and Little Miss Eco give this brand "two paws up" and lots of tail wags. Just some great side benefit of feeding appropriate ingredients? No stinky breath, no tartar on their teeth, no joint inflammation, and no stinky "doggie" smell at all.. Just read the ingredient label on everything you feed your dog. It makes sense to feed PawNaturaw.
