My dogs hated these treats. They refused to eat them, no matter how hungry they were. They smelled them and walked away. I even put peanut butter on them and they refused them.

Great product, all natural, healthy. These snacks are tiny for a large breed dog, about the size of a nickle but with twice its depth. I don't give my dogs anything I don't 'taste test' first, and I can honestly say these would suffice as an emergency food supply for even me in a starvation situation. The fruit flavors are evident, the snack crunchy (great for teeth cleaning and jaw exercise).
Because my dogs are so large and these are so small, they get them as 'special' treats for 'special' good behavior: behaving at vet appointments in the waiting room with scads of other pets; wiping their feet on the kitchen mat upon entering the house from the muddy yard, standing still while I clean their ears as well as the dreaded nail clipping. (I think I dread that more than they do)!
These are great at any price, but I watch for the sales on Amazon and then purchase as many as I can afford during those times to have on hand in all flavors. My guys and gals like the cranberry and apple the best, but will perform any task asked of them for any of these flavors.
Edit: 2-21-10 - was in local pet supply store yesterday just looking around killing time while my friend shopped. I stumbled upon these on the shelves in all flavors; not in multi-packs like those offered here, but single 1.14oz bags. Each individual bag was priced at $5.59 - absolutely ridiculous! Get it at Amazon! Even at regular price you're paying about $2./pack!!! And these go on sale occasionally here, too! That is when I stock up and keep them on hand.
